"In youth, while learning, you breathe in the air of experience. The air circulates within, mingling with the breath of your own soul. Then in creation you exhale and your works emit a certain hava, an air that they inevitably share with works created by others who inhale and exhale within the same atmosphere." -Henry Glassie
I'm a grad student, a husband, a dad to an awesome little girl, Eastern Orthodox, a Green, an ally, and passionate for dance, which I started learning at the age of 25. I'm also into reading, writing, cooking, knitting, gender studies, masculinities, textiles and fashion, the Northern world, and social justice issues.
I write a lot about dance's role in my life, and about trying to lead a healthier, more simplistic lifestyle. I've been working to journal each dance class that I take in order to understand the process of learning and moving.
